iciHaiti - Culture : Presentation sale-signing of the book «Grand'Rue»

Wednesday, July 15, the photographic book "Grand'Rue" will be presented to the Fondation Connaissance et Liberté (FOKAL) at 5:00 pm in the multipurpose room at 143 Avenue Christophe, in the presence of the authors of the book, as well as trainers who supervised them, will speak of its realization and answer questions from the public. The book will also be on sale for the event at a special price of 400 gourdes. The funds raised through the sale of this book will be reinvested in training workshops.

This book is the result of work done in a workshop, held in November 2013 in Port-au-Prince, framed by photographer Gaël Turine and graphic designer Chiquinquira Garcia. Organized by FOKAL through its support for the development of photojournalism, the workshop received support from the Fund EWA Wallonie Bruxelles International.

"Grand’Rue" and made from photographs from Jean-Marc Abélard, Barnabas Dieudonné, Yves-Osner Dorvil, Fabienne Douce, Junior Jovin, Réginald Louissaint Junior, Milo Milfort, George Harry Rouzier et Estaïlove Saint-Val ; des textes de Falone Conte and Emmanuel Marino Bruno and drawings by Géraldine Colin.
