iciHaiti - Health : 50% of Haitian are drinking water of dubious quality...
According to the latest report of the DINEPA, 50% of the population in Haiti, would consume a water of dubious quality and/or obtained in harsh conditions, 36% of households having to walk more than half an hour to reach a water source.

Moreover, it should be emphasized that the Regional Offices for Drinking Water and Sanitation (OREPA) as well as the Committees of Water Supply and Sanitation (CEPAS) have a very low operation.

Anthonal Mortimé, the Executive Secretary of the Platform for the Defence of Human Rights Organizations (POHDH) deplores this situation he considers as a violation of human rights, since according to him, the right to water is a right sacred such as civil and political rights.
