A Haitian delegation participated in Martinique, to the Floralies internationales "The Caraibe a bouquet of flowers" It was a unique opportunity to present the tourist potential of the island to the other 14 countries that were present as well as the population of Martinique came in large numbers.

The Agronomist William Cinéas, Director of the Botanical Garden of Les Cayes made a presentation of the first botanical garden in Haiti https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-8454-haiti-environment-connect-us-with-nature.html and future prospects, in front of many participants and visitors, who mostly ignored the existence of a botanical garden in Haiti. He said he was satisfied and happy to have participated in these Floralies, where he says he learned a lot and made exchanges with other participants such horticulturists and landscapers floral designer.

Besides the works of Haitian artisans, exposed on Haiti's booth attracted much interest of curiosity and admiration of visitors.
