On the sidelines of the closing ceremony of two liaison offices with the community (Fort Liberté and Hinche) Sandra Honoré, the Special Representative of the Secretary General of the UN and civil Head of the Minustah advocated for the respect of human dignity at the upcoming repatriations of Haitians living in an irregular migratory situation in the Dominican Republic "Human dignity is a sacred right. Nobody has the right to undermine it, because it is a migrant," affirmed Sandra Honoré. She added that the UN encouraged dialogue between the authorities of both countries https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14238-haiti-repatriations-sandra-honore-met-the-chancellor-navarro.html so that there is no mass repatriation to Haiti.
