In a note, the Group "Haïti Chérie", an entity of the Haitian private sector, through its Foundation, announced the creation of a civic solidarity fund within the framework of upcoming repatriations of Haitian citizens by the Dominican Republic. This fund consists of an initial amount of one million gourdes.

The Group "Haïti Chérie" encourages its citizens to massively mobilize to properly welcome their brothers and sisters in their homeland. The Group rges the national authorities to take all measures to accompany the returnees.

Moreover, the Group "Haïti Chérie" calls on national authorities to take all necessary steps to improve the business climate in order to facilitate more domestic and foreign direct investment to create jobs, promote entrepreneurship and increase national production.
