In a note addressed to the attention of all the actors of the cultural industry, the Haitian Bureau of Copyrights (BHDA) informs that "Following numerous denunciations of authors, artists and rights holders to the Haitian Bureau of Copyright, the BHDA reminds directors, choreographers, directors of dance troupes or theater that the partial or total use of protected works in a foreign or Haitian show is subject to the express permission of the rights holders.

The office take this opportunity to inform the organizers of shows, promoters of tours and owners of performance hall, to ensure that the programs they organize or host, are in compliance with the decree of 12 October 2015 on copyright and neighboring rights.
