Approximately 3 workshops and more than 7 working meetings, enabled the team to the Promotion Unit of the Private Investment in Agricultural Sector (UPISA) to present, Thursday, June 11, 2015, to Fresner Dorcin, the Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development (MARNDR), to the technical and departmental directors and partners of the Ministry, their strategic plan of 3 years (2015- 2018).

Agronomist Alain R. Thermil, who played the role of spokesman of the team briefly presented the plan while stressing the 3 main missions of the UPISA :

1. Attracting investment for agriculture to play its everage role for socio-economic development;

2. Improve the capacity of MARNDR to meet the needs, expectations and aspirations of small, medium and large agricultural and agro-industrial entrepreneurs;

3. Propelling the commitment of MARNDR in the sector with a communications culture, of information and cooperation with the private sector;
