Tuesday, Rothchild François Jr. the Presidential Spokesman proceeded to the installation of Dominique Pierre as the new Minister of the Environment (MDE), which takes over from Jean Marie Claude Germain.

"It's a pleasure for me to proceed with the installation of Mr. Dominique Pierre [...] As you all know, the environment, from the beginning of the mandate of President of the Republic, has appeared in the axis of its priorities. The aerial seeding, the construction of embankments (risk areas), the creation of protected areas, the planting of seedlings demonstrate the importance the Administration Martelly-Paul gives to the environment [...]

Relying on your past in the public administration, including the Metropolitan Waste Collection Service (SMCRS), we do not doubt of your ability to carry out your mission," declared François Rothchild Jr. while handing the ampliation to the new holder of MDE.
