iciHaiti - Social : The Haitian music world mourns Almando Keslin
The Ministry of Culture has learned with dismay the sad news of the death of the percussionist, drummer emeritus Almando Keslin, which occurred on 22 May.

Almando Keslin, born in Port-au-Prince May 16, 1949, was part in the 80' of groups DP Express and Fantastique. After his rupture with the Bossa Combo, he joined the Difficiles of Petion-ville, before founding his own group "Omni band."

Adept of "ti Manno" he spent much of his life to fight a battle for national gratitude towards his idol and was the initiator of "Fes-Ti-Manno".

The Ministry of Culture bends before the remains of the late Almando Keslin and expresses its sympathy and deep condolences to the place of his family, the music world and all those who are afflicted by the loss of this virtuoso.
