This Monday, May 18, 2015, the day of the celebration of the 212th anniversary of our two-tone, while the President Martelly, in the town of Arcahaie started there a few minutes his speech to the Nation, the Head of State wrote on social networks...
"As we celebrate the 212th anniversary of our two-tone I pay tribute to ancestors who left us this Patrie [...] Our flag is the main symbol that unites us. The bicolor conquered with the blood and sacrifice, must challenge us on the need to put us together, son and daughters of Dessalines, Petion, of Capois La Mort, of Louverture and of Christophe, to work towards the development of our beloved Haiti."
