iciHaiti - Social : Participation of people with disabilities at the Agricultural Fair

Again this year the Office of the Secretary of State for Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH) allowed, thanks to the support of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour, that people with disabilities are represented at the Agricultural Fair and Labor at Champ-de-mars from 1 to 3 May 2015.

On the program one can quote in particular a beautiful exhibition of products made by disabled persons (including : Jojo Artist painter, artists and artisans of ODDSM and of Foyer d'Amour.) ; an exhibition of young athletes with disabilities with a football and crutches and a competition "Gran Manjè".

"Children, youth and adults have taken advantage of these moments in an atmosphere of respect, friendliness and joy. Together we celebrated the capacity of people with disabilities and the diversity and together we continue the road towards a more inclusive society in Haiti !" declared Gerald Oriol Jr., Secretary of State for Disabled People Integration.
