Tour of Enrico Macias in Haiti
"The heat of the sun of Haiti is not comparable to the heat of heart of Haitians," these were the first words of the world famous French singer-actor Enrico Macias, addressed to the staff of the Ministry of Tourism conducted by the Director General Maryse Noel who welcomed him Tuesday at the Toussaint Louverture International Airport. Visibly pleased, Enrico Macias has promised to rediscover this new Haiti during this performance week, of workshops and also of touristic visits.

3 new DG in public administration
New personalities have been appointed within the public administration they are : the former Deputy Director General in the National Airports Authority (NAA), Irving Mehu who is appointed by presidential decree Director General of the AAN. Ginot Bonnet, who was appointed Director General of the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities (MICT) and Delima Peter, who became Director General of the National Office of Partnership in Education (ONAPE).

2nd edition of "Atis Nan Kay La"
As part of the 7th Transcultural Forum of Contemporary Art https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-13515-haiti-culture-7th-transcultural-forum-of-contemporary-art.html the Akoustik Prod Association, in partnership with the AfricAméricA Foundation, presents the 2nd edition of "Atis Nan Kay La" whose objective is to revitalize the neighborhood of Pacot, from the development/valuation of architectural heritage of Gingerbread houses. For this second edition, the public is invited to discover two circuits. The first "Devan pòt tounen dèyè kay" will take place on April 10 from 6:00 pm and the second "Vwazinay se dra blan" will be held on 11 April at 5:30 pm. The circuits will be animated by the group Rara "Follow Jah". Whenever the public will arrive front of a Gingerbread house, a person will present the house, by retracing its history and architecture.

Laying the first stone...
This Wednesday morning was held the ceremony of laying the first stone of the national midwifery training institute, on the site of the former National School of Nursing, located next to the General Hospital on the street Monseigneur Guilloux.

Prime Minister Paul meets OMRH
On Monday, Prime Minister Evans Paul and the Secretary General of the Primature, Me Josué Pierre Louis held a working session with the General Coordinator of the Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH) Uder Antoine who was accompanied by his deputy coordinator, Antoine Verdier. An emphasis was placed on the various achievements to date and prospects until the end of 2015. The Prime Minister reiterated his support for the implementation of the reform and gave the guarantee to representatives of the OMRH that he will support their interventions that should "allow to finally have a modern public administration, effective and efficient at the service of the population."
