New school Police
The Ministry of Education met with community police officers who will be assigned to the new school Police (EDUPOL). 50 community police officers are receiving additional training before graduation.

2nd Edition Festi-Rara in Petit-Goâve
Saturday, April 4, 2015, the Committee of the Festi-Rara of Vialet, will organize the second edition of the Rara contest on the theme "Ann retounen ak kilti lakay". According Edner Hilaire (Gangan NeNe) the Chairman of the Committee, more than a dozen rara bands evolving in Petit-Goâve will participate in this contest, such as : Ti la Fleur from the locality Nan Bouzen ; Rasin Gran Bwa from Trouchouchou ; Alyans from Trouchouchou ; Mog from Sous-pino ; La fleur de Saint-yves 2nd Plain ; Sonnen byen from Aubourg ; Grann Sainte-Anne from Chalon ; Musicien Palais from the 2nd Plain ; Bouldezer from Chalon ; Saint-Jacques from Fort-royal ; Lambi Gran dlo from l'acul de Petit-Goâve ; Mass Compas from Barette and Ozanana from Chalon. Participation criteria; Rara bands selected must use traditional instruments, performing original choreography, presenting a song reflecting the country's problems... The public is invited in large numbers, Saturday, April 4 from 8:00 pm at the Committee headquarters, National Road #2, Cuperlier old road (Vialet, Petit Goave). Security for all will be ensured.
