400 files on the agenda of criminal trials
During criminal trials with and without jury assistance, which begin Thursday in Port-au-Prince, nearly 400 cases will be examined, including 17 with jury assistance, for murders, assassinations and violent crime at a rate of two hearings per day for 30 days.

Agriculture: Canada-Haiti Cooperation
Ambassador of Canada, Paula Caldwell St-Onge, met Fresner Dorcin, the Minister of Agriculture. Bilateral meeting of chancellors in Jimani
In the perspective of concretely restart dialogue at institutional, an ad hoc bilateral meeting will be held Friday, March 13 in the border town of Jimani, between the two Chancellors of both countries to find a definitive solution, with respect to security to be provided to Dominican diplomatic and consular missions accredited in Haiti. The Consulate General and all the Dominican consulates established in Haiti could reopen their doors as early as Monday, March 16, 2015. The meeting of of Jimani will also allow the two Chancellors to consider the date, place and themes for the next Haitian-Dominican meeting of the Joint Bilateral Commission (CMB).

Government Youth of Haiti
This Thursday, the Government Youth of Haiti (GJH), will proceed to the inauguration of the 11 departmental delegates and of the aitian diaspora, an activity that is part of setting up structures to strengthen institutional capacity of GJH in the performance of its actions through the 10 departments of the country and the Diaspora.

World Consumer Rights Day
On Friday, the Department of Quality Control and Consumer Protection (DCQPC) of the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MCI), will celebrate the World Consumer Rights Day around the theme "The right of consumers to a healthy diet". For the occasion, the Directorate of Quality Control and Consumer Protection, will organize a series of conferences and debates aimed at raising awareness on issues related to consumption.
