Award Ceremony at the SHAA This week the Haitian Society for Aid to the Blind (SHAA) awarded a Certificate of Excellence to 12 blind and visually impaired youth who brilliantly succeeded the official examinations of the last cycle of the school years 2012-2013 and 2013-2014. The Award "Kéthia Althémany Sorel" rewards both the courage and determination of our young graduates experiencing blindness. The top three of the twelve received a laptop adapted to their disability. For these Award, the SHAA has received financial support of the Unibank, the SOGEBANK and the Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH).
