Over 30,000 Haitian returnees !
Brigadier General Carlos Manuel Reyes Aguirre, revealed that since the beginning of the year more than 30,000 Haitians paperless trying to enter illegally in the Dominican Republic were arrested along the 308 kilometers of the border and handed to immigration authorities and repatriated to their country. According to official figures, in 2014 between 100 and 150 Haitian migrants were arrested on average each day in the Dominican Republic. The Dominican army indicates that in 2013, 52,000 undocumented immigrants from Haiti were intercepted and repatriated. The President Martelly in Léogâne
This Thursday, the President Martelly will visit Léogâne for the inauguration of the National Library Claire Heureuse of Léogâne. Integration of young professionals from the diaspora
Wednesday Olicier Pieriche, the Minister of Haitians Living Abroad, received the visit of two responsible for "Staffing plus services, LLC" an employment agency based in Florida, on tour in Haiti. "This visit is part of MHAVE actions o facilitate the integration of young professional executives from the diaspora," declared the Minister Pieriche. Let's recall that this agency has already taken actions to facilitate the return Haitian professionals from the diaspora in Haiti.
