Evans Paul still has a chance
Wednesday, Senator François Anick Joseph indicated that the Prime Minister appointed Evans Paul still had a chance to take the step of Parliament advising the Executive to do everything to find a consensus with other stakeholders.

Thanks for sea rescue
The Consul of Haiti in Aruba thanks the Captain of the Zuiderdam Holland America for rescuing and bringing to safe harbor all 8 sailors including 4 Haitian nationals. In the early morning hours of January 3rd 2015 a commercial boat from Freeport Bahamas was in serious trouble, adrift off the Cuban coast. The ship had lost all engine function and was taking on water quickly. To the luck of the 8 sailors aboard, a cruise ship from the Holland America Line on route to Aruba was nearby and rapidly responded to their SOS call. The New Year began with a blessing for all Haitian and Bahamian survivors who were given a new chance at life, as they would have all certainly perished in the dark, cold and shark infested waters without Divine intervention.

New GAAR Coordinator
Monday, Me Beaubrun who worked within the Support Group for Returnees and Refugees (GARR) as Programme Manager has been installed in his new role as Coordinator. He takes over from Jean Baptiste Azolin who held this position since December 2013.
