Meeting between the Haitian Community and the American Embassy
A meeting was held between the Haitian Community of Turks and Caicos and the Vice Consul of the US Embassy, Paul Stilley on the new procedures for applying for non-immigrant visa. An initiative of the Embassy of Haiti to the Bahamas coordinated by the Consulate of Haiti to the Turks and Caicos.

10,000 Haitians in the State of Paraná
Madsen Chérubin, Ambassador of Haiti in Brazil, visited the Governor in exercise of the State of Paraná, Flávio Arns, to discuss the best way to integrate the some 10,000 Haitians living in the capital Curitiba and the nearby cities.

150th school built by the Digicel Foundation
Wednesday, was inaugurated the National School of Grande Savane located in Saut d'Eau, with 9 classrooms, a computer lab, a library, administrative block, sanitary facilities and a playground... This is the 150th school built by the Digicel Foundation.

326 million euros
€ 326 million, is the amount paid by France in the framework of cooperation in Haiti between 2010 (earthquake) and 2014 to which must be added the French portion paid to the European Union and the United Nations. 80% of this aid was intended to Haitian institutions in various fields: agriculture (12%), planning (26%), education and culture (13%), strengthening of the state (23%), health and population (10%), society and human rights (16%).

Secretary of State and the Director of MTIC in Labadee
Wednesday, Ms. Jessy Menos, Secretary of State for Tourism and Ms. Dieudonne Luma Etienne, Director Regionale North Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industries (MTIC) conducted a tour in Labadee, including on the site of the "Royal Caribbean Cruise line "(RCCL). The objective of this tour was to make a a prospecting on the site of the RCCL and receive complaints from crafts merchants of the place.
