Haiti - News : Some news here and there... 09/09/2014 14:17:19 The Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH) informs associations working in the field for people with special needs, particularly youth with disabilities who wish to pursue higher education that the office has half scholarships (successful applicants will have to assume the additional cost) to the professional School Alliance Informatique and to the École supérieure d’Infotronique d’Haïti (ESIH). Interested persons are invited to go to the premises of BSEIPH located 13 bis, rue Senghor, Nazon, to complete the application form. Deadline September 12, 2014 at 2 o'clock pm at the latest. Note that this law should be passed by the Senate before being enacted to apply. Mobile clinic of the Natcom Thursday 4 and Friday, September 5, the Natcom installed from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, a mobile clinic in Cayes-Jacmel close to the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Patients benefited from a free consultation and medicines during these two days. Some patients whose cases require medical attention, were taken into account. The population welcomed the initiative of the Natcom with enthusiasm and hope that the company can continue in this way facilitating the lives of the poor. Visit of works in the region of Jacmel Dithny Joan Raton, Director Southeast of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industries (MTIC), visited several ongoing work in the Jacmel area: renovation of facades of houses in the street of commerce, narrow winding streets, food kiosks, straw parasols to Raymond-les-Bains and former Club congo range of Stephane Vital. As part of the program "Heritage for the Development in Jacmel" initiated by the MTIC, the restoration of the historic building of the City of Jacmel has now been completed and the building ready to receive the municipal authorities.
