First Edition of "Festi Cocoyer"
Saturday the Beach "Beach Cocoyer" of Petit-Goâve, one of the most beautiful beaches in the country, hosted the first edition of "Festi Cocoyer" initiated by the local authorities. A large crowd and the musical atmosphere were at the rendezvous on this paradise beach, which constitutes a real tourist destination according to the testimonies of visitors. 7 Haitian boxers qualified for the 22nd edition of the CACG
Danie Eddy Pierre, President of the Haitian Boxing Federation (FHB) announced that 7 boxers have qualified to participate in the 22nd edition of the "Central American and Caribbean Games" (CACG) to be held in Mexico from November 14 to 30 2014. They are Jean Bernard Bélizaire (52 kg), Paul André Demosthène (91 kg), Pierre Marie Félicien (54 kg), Rémy Félizier (60 kg), Snood Dukenys (69 kg), Sony Arnaud Junior (81 kg) and Wildens Altée (64 kg).

New police commissioner in Cap-Haitien
The Divisional Commissioner Hughes Gabriel, from the 2nd promotion of National Police of Haiti (PNH), took the reins of the policein Cap Haitien and promised to make of the police of this city, a reference in the fight against crime and juvenile delinquency. He takes over from the Chief Inspector Joseph Dextra who serving as Interim at the police station of Cap-Haitien.

2nd Edition of the "Fête du Lac"
The 2nd edition of the "Fête du Lac" will be held from 23 to 31 August in the Parish Hall of Thomazeau. On the program: exhibition of agricultural products, crafts, art and cultural activities for 9 days. This event aims to explore the natural wealth and the charms of Thomazeau, flora, fauna and these wonderful sites: Trou Caiman, Lake Azuei and Source Dutil.
