Other trophies of the World Cup
The adidas Golden Ball was awarded to Argentina captain Lionel Messi for his outstanding displays at Brazil 2014. The adidas Golden Boot award goes to the top goalscorer at the FIFA World Cup who at Brazil 2014 was Colombia's James Rodriguez. The adidas Golden Glove goes to the tournament's most outstanding goalkeeper who at Brazil 2014 was deemed to be Germany's Manuel Neuer. The Hyundai Young Player award was awarded to France's Paul Pogba for his excellent displays at Brazil 2014. The FIFA Fair Play Award will go to the team with the tournament’s best disciplinary record (Colombia).

The Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra in Haiti
From 20 July to 3 August 2014, the soloists of the Wind Ensemble of the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra will be in Haiti to give a series of concerts. 13 soloists will perform at Jacmel (Tuesday, July 22, Tourist port, 7:00 pm), Les Cayes (Wednesday, July 23, Normal School Public, 7:00 pm), Port-au-Prince (Friday, July 25, School of Music Holy Trinity, 5:00 pm) and Cap-Haïtien (Sunday, July 27 Cathedral Notre-Dame of Cap-Haitien, 7:30 pm). They will perform the famous "Gran'Partita" for wind instruments by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The concerts are free and open to all. They are organized in partnership with the Franco-Haitian cultural network, composed of the French Institute and the French Alliances in Haiti.

Sports for Hope Centre
Tuesday, Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), will attend the inauguration of the Sports for Hope Centre, the second Olympic Youth Centre of the IOC after the one built in Lusaka, Zambia in 2010. The objective for the IOC by opening "Olympic Youth Development Centre" (OYDC) is "to provide young people and communities in developing countries opportunities for sport and positive lifestyle and to promote the principles and Olympism values."
