Exhibition of books and articles of President Leslie Manigat

Dans le cadre du Plan Spécial, depuis l’installation de 170 lampadaires solaires dans les différents quartiers de Cité Soleil, les espaces éclairés deviennent des lieux de rencontres, de fêtes ou simplement de vie. Les marchands ambulants, hommes, femmes et enfants poursuivent désormais leurs activités quotidiennes sans craindre l’obscurité ou de se faire agresser. Les gens se regroupent à proximité des lampadaires la nuit pour vendre leurs marchandises, des élèves et des étudiants viennent tous les soirs réviser leurs notes, des petits métiers s’y réunissent pour terminer les travaux qu’ils n’ont pas eu le temps d’achever durant la journée.

MCI train its executives
On July 23th, the Technical Assistance Support Program of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (PAMCI) will organize a training session (the last of a series of 4) for the directorates of MCI, including the departmental directorates. Led by experts from the Technical Assistance of PAMCI this training aims to inform executives on the Multilateral Trade Agreements (ACM), focusing on the Haitian context and the role of MCI in the field and assess the level of knowledge of executives to choose the most appropriate subsequent specialized technical training to the needs directorate on this subject. In the future, MCI plans to open these seminars to institutional and private partners.
