Meeting with the Haitian American Nurses Association
The Haitian American Nurses Association (HANA) met this week with Dr. Florence D. Guillaume, Minister of Public Health and Population in the premises of the Ministry. Discussions focused among others on the important contribution of nurses and the strengthening of Haitian health system. HANA took the opportunity to announce the holding of a conference in Haiti from May 5 to 7, 2015 in Haiti and the support the HANA intends to make to the health sector in Haiti. HANAthat existed for 30 years in Florida, is a Haitian American Nurses Association that works in partnership with many Haitian universities in the training of nurses.
