Toward the development of a new national security plan
On Thursday, Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe chaired at the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ), a meeting of the Supreme Council of the National Police (CSPN) in the presence of Jean Renel Sanon, Minister of Justice, Jean Claude Jeune, Inspector General of DCPJ, Ralph Stanley Jean Bris, Inspector General in Chief of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), Godson Orélus, Director General of the PNH, ax Jacques-Louis, Coordinator to the Primature, of CSPN and Normil Rameau, Inspector General of DCPJ. At this meeting, it was discussed the security situation and the development of a new security plan for the country, in order to reassure investors and continue to promote the image of Haiti.

Haiti will the Vice-Presidency of the G7+
During the 3rd Ministerial Meeting of G7+, which took place on 29 and 30 May 2014 in Lomé (Togo), the ministers delegate of the member states have appointed as new Chairman of the G7 +, the Minister Kaifala Marah of Sierra Leone and as Vice-President, Alfred Metellus, Secretary of State for the Economy of Haiti.

92 visually impaired graduates
Friday, during a ceremony of graduation, 92 visually impaired (33 men and 59 women) received their certificates of participation in a training course on the culinary arts, crafts and computer adapted to visually impaired offered by the Haitian Blind Aid Society (AAHS), thanks to the support of Project HOPE and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Annual Congress of Federation of Canadian Municipalities
As part of Canada Municipal Cooperation Program (PCM2), a Haitian delegation composed of the Director of the Territorial Community, the Secretary of State for Territorial Community, a representative of the Office of Management and Human Resources, of the Interministerial Committee for Planning and of Parliament, participate in a technical assistance mission on the municipal leadership at the 2014 annual conference of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities [May 27-June 3, 2014 in Niagara Falls - Ontario - Canada]
