Two rockslides in Baradère
The rains of Tuesday evening caused two rockslides in Baradères. Interventions are underway to unblock the road. A 31 year old woman was killed in Petion-ville, following the fall of a tree on her house. The courtyard of the Austrian Hospital and several houses were flooded in three neighborhoods of Saint-Louis du Nord. Houses in the neighborhood of Boneau (5th Section of Saint-Louis du Nord) are flooded.

Tuberculosis, positive results 2013
Thanks to funding from Global Fund, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has been able to support the Haitian government to diagnose and treat tuberculosis more than 140,000 people. This funding also allowed the unctioning of nearly 264 centers offering services for diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis in 2013.

Football: 3 Haitian referees selected
Haitian referees Joane Monestime, Judith Ambroise and Linda Pierre were selected by the Caribbean Football Union to lead the first stage of qualifying of the Caribbean Cup of Nations to be held from May 21 to 28. They will arbitrate the meetings of the Group 1, consisting of Antigua and Barbuda, St. Lucia and Barbados.

The Consulate of the Republic of Haiti in Orlando informs the Haitian community of its jurisdiction that the Consulate will be closed Monday, May 26, 2014 on the occasion of Memorial day.
