The structure of the new building was designed by Miyamoto International, a company specializing in metal buildings paraseismic, the Haitian company "RR Construction" has ensured the construction. According to the project engineer for Miyamoto International "This is the first major metallic construction of Haiti." Meeting on Haitian port system At the initiative of the Centre of Information and Documentation of Port (CIDOP), Directors and Executives of the National Port Authority (APN), a representative of the Maritime and Navigation Service of Haiti (SEMANAH), representatives of the Maritime Association of Haiti (AMARH) and of Operators Private Gathered (OPR), participated in a meeting on the Haitian port system, led by Hugues Desgranges, the Coordinator of the Unit for International Affairs of the APN. Topics covered: the state of affairs of the port system; issues of port policy; strategy in 2030; financing and implementation of the strategy. 180 projects within the framework of the execution of Communal Fund As part of the execution of Communal Fund for fiscal year 2012-2013, 180 projects were submitted by local authorities of different communes of the country to the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE), which are being analyzed by the different project owners, such as the MPCE, the Office of monetization of Development assistance programs (BMPAD) and the Ministry of Public Works, based on criteria established by the Government.
