2nd Promotion of Community Police

On Thursday, the Directorate of the National Police Academy proceeded in the presence, among other, of Commissioner Jean Ismagne Auguste, Head of the Community Police, Stewart Smith, representative of the Embassy of the United States in Haiti and top executives of the PNH, to the graduation of 44 new police officers (40 men and 4 women) of the 2nd Promotion "Community Police" of the PNH, which will be deployed in Petion-ville, Martissant and Grand Ravine.

New Secretary of State for Tourism

Friday, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries, has proceeded to the installation of Colombe Émilie Gessie Menos as Secretary of State for Tourism. Minister Villedrouin said to rely on the skill and expertise of the new Secretary of State for reinvigorating the destination. Note that prior to this position, Ms. Menos was the Director of Public Relations and Promotion in the Ministry of Tourism.

Paint and Haitian cinema honored in Ecuador
