UNDP plans to help beekeepers of Ouanaminthe
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is planning to provide technical and financial support to beekeepers of Ouanaminthe, to strengthen the quality and quantity of honey produced.

Free Medical Consultations in Canapé-Vert
This week, the merchants of public market in the neighborhood of Canapé-Vert, have benefited from free medical consultations through the mobile clinic program established by the Mission Matana (whose is the 10th anniversary in Haiti) and the City of Port-au-Prince.

Wednesday, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism, has met with "Shackles of Memory", an International Association specializes in the history of treaties and slavery. The Ministry projects such as the "Slave Route", the Crafy Villageand bed and breakfasts to implement in the specific areas of the country were discussed with a view to finding a way of cooperation between the Ministry and "Shackles of Memory."

Closing days Consulate of Miami
The Consulate General of the Republic of Haiti in Miami informs the Haitian community in Florida, that due to the National Carnival and following the Presidential Order dated February 18, 2014, the Consulate will be closed Monday, March 3 from noon on Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 all day. The resumption of activities is set at Thursday, February 6, 2014, at the usual times.
