Indefinite strike in education

Teachers' unions have announced a unlimited strike from Monday, January 20, 2014 in order to attract the attention of the authorities to the demands of teachers. According Lourde Édith J. Delouis, one of the leaders of the National Confederation of Educators in Haiti (CNEH), teachers will be present in classrooms, but will not work, they demand a wage increase, the appointment of contractual and salary scale and threaten to extend the strike if no action is taken to satisfy their claims.

Finding solutions to electricity problems
