The MOPOD could advocate general elections in 2014
Saturday, Jean André Victor, President of the Liberal Party Haitian (PLH) has suggested that the "Patriotic Movement of the Democratic Opposition" (MOPOD), which brings together the main opposition parties : OPL, INITE, RDNP, PLH, PROP, Ayisyen pou Ayiti, KID, Ansanm Nou Fo, could opt for the organization of general elections next year. Message of Sympathy of President Martelly

"President Michel Martelly expresses its deepest sympathies to his counterparts in Saint Lucia, Hon Dr Kenny Anthony, of Dominica, the Honourable Rossevelt Skerrit and of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Hon Dr. Ralph Gonsalves and their respective populations, following torrential rains and floods occurred on the night of December 24 to 25, 2013 that devastated the country and caused three victims, missing and extensive damage. The Head of State, on behalf of the Government and people of Haiti, honors the memory of the disappeared and reiterates its moral support to the people of these countries, CARICOM brothers in this difficult context."

Inauguration of two sub police stations
The new premises of sub police stations of Carrefour Chivry (Fort Liberté) and Customs of Ouanaminthe (border town) was inaugurated. The Sub police station of Carrefour Chivry was funded to the tune of 45,000 dollars by MINUSTAH through its Quick Impact Projects (QIPs). While the sub police station of Customs of Ouanaminthe is a project achieved by the administration of the UN Mission.
