iciHaiti - PNH : Good news for the police officers
After the decision of the Professional Association of Banks to allow police officers to change their pay checks in the various branches of commercial banks in the country in the context of the current crisis https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-41955-haiti-news-zapping.html police officers encountered the refusal of banks to change their check because the badge was not up to date !

Reacting to the dissatisfaction of its members, the National Union of Haitian Police Officers (SYNAPOHA) sent a correspondence to the APB to explain the refusal of the banks and specify "[...] the badges is a situation which does not depend personally on the police officer, given that there is a logistical problem at the General Directorate of the National Police of Haiti for the renewal of badges and asked the APB “[…] to consider the case of our valiant police officers whose badges are not up to date and to facilitate them in changing their check through any bank in the republic while waiting for measures to be adopted at the level of the PNH personnel service."

Good news for the police officers after the letter from SYNAPOHA, the APB responded positively and confirmed having made the decision that "from Tuesday April 9, 2024, all police officers will be able to change their checks even if their badge has expired and they can prove that they are police officers [...]" Lionel LAZARRE General Coordinator of SYNAPOHA welcomes this decision in the interest of the police.
