iciHaiti - USA : The PNH received a batch of materials and equipment to fight against Gangs
Thursday April 24, 2024, the Haitian National Police (PNH) received, at Toussaint Louverture International Airport, a batch of materials and equipment with a view to strengthening its operational capacity in its fight against armed gangs.

The PNH thanks the Haitian Government for the acquisition of these materials and equipment (the contents of which are unknown) and takes the opportunity to thank the American Government which provided transport.

Separately, U.S. Southern Command coordinated another flight to Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, with the delivery of humanitarian aid from the Denton Program, marking an important step toward recovery flights to Haiti.

A US Air Force C-130 transported 20 pallets of oral hydration fluid for the fight against cholera, donated by non-governmental organizations Hope to Haiti, MAP International and Lift Logistics. This aid will help hydrate more than 10,000 people.
